The Dollar continued to weaken against other major currencies as commodities got a boost from stocks that rose on decreasing concerns regarding euro zone debt crisis. TIC Net Long-Term Transactions came out 83B better than expected 77.3B. The Stock Markets in US soared and rose sharply with NASDAQ gaining 2.76% and Dow Jones advancing by 2.1%. Crude oil jumped by 2.4% closing at 77 $ a barrel. Gold (XAU) managed to rise and closed at 1234$ an ounce. Today, the Building Permits is expected at 0.63M vs. 0.61M previously. The PPI is expected at -0.5% vs. -0.1% previously. The Housing Starts is expected at 0.65M vs.0.67M previously.
