The Dollar continued to rise against its majors as Stocks fell across the globe and commodities plunged after concern that the 110 billion-Euro aid package for Greece won’t contain Europe’s debt crisis ,led the investors to sell risky assets and buy safer assets like the Dollar. NASDAQ and Dow Jones weakened by -0.91% and -0.55% respectively, Crude oil continued to fall, weakening by -3.37% closing at 79.97$ a barrel, Gold(XAU) prices increased by 0.5% closing at 1174.2$ an ounce. Today, Weekly Unemployment Claims are expected at 441K versus 448K prior. Fed Chairman Bernanke will speak in Chicago.
