USD/JPY Open 80.77 High 81.74 Low 80.62 Close 80.76

On Monday Dollar/Yen traded within a narrow 45 pip range, not matching the negative Interbank sentiment at bellow -62%. The currency couple appreciated from 80.62 to 81.07 yesterday, closing the day at 80.76. This morning the Dollar strengthened against the Yen, climbing up to 81.74. On the 1 hour chart new upward channel is emerging, while on the 3 hour trading has moved into a range. Break above today's top and nearest resistance 81.74 would encourage further recovery of the Dollar. Immediate support is yesterday's bottom at 80.62, and consistent break bellow it could strengthen the Yen further down towards next target 79.70. Today is Japan Tertiary activity index at 23:50 GMT. Quotes are moving way above the 20 and 50 EMA on the 1 hour chart, indicating strong bullish pressure. The value of the RSI indicator is positive and declining, MACD is thinly positive and inclining upwards, while CCI has just crossed up the 100 line on the 1 hour chart, giving overall long signals, but be aware of possible adjustment.
