On Friday Dollar/Yen decreased with nearly 100 pips, matching the negative Interbank sentiment at bellow -76%. The currency couple depreciated from 81.01 to 80.04 on Friday, closing the week at 80.23. This morning the Dollar is showing weakness again against the Yen, but movements are still within Friday's range for the time being. On the 1 hour chart quotes broke down of the trading range, while on the 3 hour chart trading is within wider range. Break above Friday's top and nearest resistance 81.33 would encourage further recovery of the Dollar. Immediate support is Friday's bottom at 80.04, and consistent break bellow it could strengthen the Yen further down towards next target 79.20. There are no major economic events for Japan today. Quotes are moving just bellow the 20 and 50 EMA on the 1 hour chart, indicating slim bearish pressure. The value of the RSI indicator is negative and calm, MACD is negative and tranquil too, while CCI has crossed down the 100 line on the 1 hour chart, giving overall light short signals.
