It all ends on Sunday, May 13.
Let's take a look at what we have got.
Manchester United vs Sunderland, Manchester City vs QPR
What's at stake?
1. For the Manchester duo it's the English Premier League Title. The ultimate prize .
2. The bragging rights as to who is the real deal in Manchester
3. For QPR it could mean survival and another year in top flight football.
If QPR manage a draw at Eastland's and United win against Sunderland it's all over for City. For QPR even a draw will ensure them safety. For United only City's failure can get them the title even if they defeat Sunderland. One thing for sure whatever be the outcome of these games you are going to see lot of emotional scenes at both the venues.
Everton vs Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur vs Fulham, West Brom vs Arsenal
What's at stake?
Champions League Football
After what happened during last few weeks and after lots of head scratching and permutations still I was not able to figure out who will lift the trophy. My heart says United all the way but the League table and City's form says something else.
So I thought the best would be to give the football lovers a preview and let them decide............
As last week we again look at matches that matter.
Let's get the ball rolling........
Arsenal vs Norwich
After impressive mid-week victories by Newcastle and Spurs suddenly the pressure seems to be on Arsenal. If Arsenal crack here then they are the ones to be blamed. Norwich have done exceedingly well in their first season after being newly promoted and they might well be looking at the next season. It's all to play for Arsenal. Come on Gunners........
Newcastle vs Man City
Every point matters at this stage. There will be late goals, relegation battles and of course the biggest Manchester derby this weekend.
For a change this week, we leave the mid table teams. We look at matches where teams are fighting hard to survive in the league. We take a look at the title decider. But one thing for sure, this week promises to be a super exciting footballing weekend.
Here we go...
Stoke City vs Arsenal
Arsenals are very much in for the third place but Stoke always has been a tough opponent for the Gunners. With Theo Walcott ruled out for the season and Robin Van Persie not in the goal scoring form, suddenly things look certainly tricky for the Gunners. Stoke on the other hand have nothing left to play for but after a lifeless performance last week they might have something to prove to their fans. Predicting a 1-1 draw leaving Arsene Wenger sulking.
Wigan vs Newcastle
Another week of entertaining football in the Premier League awaits.
We take a look at this week's matches and what to expect.
Arsenal vs Chelsea
Chelsea stars were disciplined, determined and passionate in mid week victory over Barcelona. They would need all those attributes again when they face arch rivals Arsenal in a lunch time kick-off at Emirates. Roberto di Matteo would like to rest some of the squad members and keep them fresh for match against Barcelona. Arsenal would like to push a tired Chelsea side and get a victory to keep their hold on the 3rd spot in the League table.
PREDICTION: Chelsea to continue their recent good form with a victory over Arsenal.
Blackburn Rovers vs Norwich City
Five successive defeats and suddenly Blackburn are on the verge of relegation. Steve Kean and the Owners should face further protests from the Blackburn faithful. If Blackburn win this match they could have some chance of surviving provided that other rivals also drop points.
With FA Cup Semifinals this week we have less matches this week but the decisive battle for the Premier League Champions and the relegation battle just got more interesting.
Norwich vs Man City
Roberto Mancini by admitting Man United as a stronger side has started a fresh round of mind games. City was back to the free flowing football they were playing for the most parts of the season. Norwich has exceeded expectation this season and any points from now on are a bonus. The last meeting between the two sides resulted in a 5 - 1 defeat for Norwich. Perhaps they could payback some of those goals this time.
Sunderland vs Wolves
Wolves are just going through the motions without anything to offer. This season has been a dismal one for them. Sunderland under Martin O Neill has done very well and at home they look to climb higher in the league table with a victory over the Wolves.
Swansea vs Blackburn
