Valentine’s Day is a holiday during which many people are expected to show their love by reaching into their wallets, but V-Day doesn’t have to put anyone into debt. Tons of businesses are offering freebies and deals this year.

Restaurants such as Waffle House and White Castle are taking their casual dining up a notch and letting couples make reservations with tableside service. Dairy Queen is allowing people to preorder red velvet Cupid Cakes while Einstein Bros Bagels is letting customers to preorder heart-shaped bagels.

But the real deals are the ones that allow people to save money. Even if Valentine’s Day has become Singles Awareness Day (SAD), free stuff is always great. Check out what free items you can find in stores and restaurants on Feb. 14.
