In a time when bullying is rampant, Valerie Dodds concocted a unique plan to fight back against those who bullied her in high school by doing what she does best: posing nude. The 19-year-old porn star was cited last week after officials at Pius X Catholic High School uncovered nude photos of the former student posing in front of the religious institution.

Dodds' photoshoot, which occurred during the early morning hours of May 13, resulted in the teen receiving a citation for trespassing and public nudity. After receiving the citation for the original photo, which shows the teen posing topless in front of a “no trespassing” sign outside the school, Dodds returned to the Lincoln, Neb., school once again Friday, this time during school hours, wearing only pasties and underwear, KETV reports.

Dodds, also known as Val Midwest in the adult film industry, said the original photo was taken in an effort to fight back against former bullies after receiving backlash from starting a nude photo business several months ago. “That’s when all of the Pius kids were saying mean things, and that’s when I decided to go there and show them that I am here to stay,” she said.

While formerly cited for a similar act, authorities were unable to arrest the scantily clad teen for nudity Friday; a photograph on the teen’s Facebook page shows cops only lingering in the background while Dodds poses with her citation outside of the school. While school officials were outraged by the adult film star’s actions, the teen’s website manager, Shane Harrington, said he is on his employer’s side. “It may be wrong and some people may not agree, but I always believe if you’re attack, you defend yourself,” he said.

Lincoln police reportedly declined to comment on the case. Msgr. John Perkington of St. Pius High School released a statement regarding the incident, saying, “If her behavior on Pius property is ever illegal, we will involve the proper authorities. ... We are praying for the young lady and her family, and we stand ready to offer forgiveness and support should she seek it.”

While her photoshoots have already caused controversy, Dodd’s said she is still interested in modeling in other public locations. “I kinda want to go down the court house and do it right up front in pasties and panties [sic],” she said. “That sounds like fun to me.”

On Wednesday, Dodds posted a message on her official Facebook page claiming school authorities originally reported her photos to Lincoln police and Crime Stoppers USA, later on thanking “Team Val” followers for their support. “Happy to know people are behind me. I really appreciate it,” she wrote.

KETV reports that Dodds left Pius X during her senior year, graduating from the nearby public school, Lincoln East.
