"Vampire Diaries" alums Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin just called it quits.

A source told Us Weekly that Wesley and Tonkin have decided to part ways after an on-again, off-again relationship for four years. According to the publication, Wesley and Tonkin separated in March. The pair moved out from their shared home, but began "hooking up" soon after.

Just weeks after they split, the pair was spotted together at the farmers market in Los Angeles. In the photos shared by Daily Mail, Wesley and Tonkin had been engrossed in a conversation and didn't stop talking as they made their way along the market with their coffee in hand.

A source close to the two celebrities confessed that they had no ill feelings towards each other and that they remain good friends despite their split. It's just that their relationship had simply "run its course." A month after their split earlier this year, Tonkin and Wesley gave their romance another try. Unfortunately, they broke up again.

Wesley was previously married to Torrey DeVitto. However, the couple filed for divorce after two years of marriage. "Paul Wesley and Torrey DeVitto have decided to amicably split. They will continue to remain good friends," Wesley's rep told E! News in 2013.

DeVitto landed a recurring role on Wesley's hit TV show, "The Vampire Diaries." "We had both done 11 episodes of the show and hadn't worked together on it yet," DeVitto said at the time. "And I said, 'Maybe that's a blessing in disguise. Maybe working together every day and then going home together would be a little too much, so maybe I prefer it this way.'"

After filming together on the set of "TVD," DeVitto confessed that it was a great experience working with her ex-husband. "I had such a great time working with [Wesley], and it was so amazing. I totally take back everything I said. We just have such a mutual respect for each other, and a similar work ethic," she said.

Shortly after Wesley and Devitto's split, Wesley was linked to Tonkin. In an interview with "The Originals" star back in 2013, he was asked about his thoughts on filming with his then-girlfriend, Tonkin. "It actually wasn't in the least bit uncomfortable or awkward. It was just kind of like we just did it and we were both in it and we both committed to it. It was nice, it was funny," Wesley told Entertainment Tonight.
