Vampire Diaries
"Death and the Maiden" - Episode 7 CW

Things are not looking good on “The Vampire Diaries” – especially with a new Petrova doppelganger thrown into the mix! Episode 6 left fans with their jaws on the ground when it was revealed that Tessa had never killed Silas’ true love, Amara. Instead Tessa had turned her traitorous hand-maiden into the anchor of the supernatural barrier between the living and the dead. No one expected Silas to drink the cure and find Amara … and no one thought that Amara would drain her one true love for a chance to end her immortality.

Episode 7 of “The Vampire Diaries” will pick up with Silas MIA and Amara in Damon and Elena’s possession. But what can viewers expect from “Death and the Maiden”? We’ve got you covered.

Confused Stefan

Stefan finally has his memories back from Tessa but he has no idea what’s going on with the whole Silas/ Amara situation. It’ll be up to Elena and Damon to explain that Silas has now gone missing, and that Silas’ one true love (that was supposed to have died 2000 years ago) is the key to the supernatural barrier … and has been transformed into a human. But will Damon take the time to explain to Stefan that he’s destined to be with Elena?

Katherine’s News

After getting a streak of grey hair and losing a tooth in episode 6, Katherine sought out help from Dr. Wes Maxfield. But it doesn’t sound like the doctor has good news for her. According to the synopsis for “Death and the Madien,” Dr. Maxfield’s research is “disturbing.” Will Katherine survive season 5? Or will she be able to find a cure for whatever is ailing her … perhaps from the Augustine vampire?

Family Drama

Katherine’s bizarre illness isn’t her only problem. Despite a heartwarming moment between Katherine and her long lost daughter Nadia in episode 5, the leaked synopsis makes it seem as if Katherine ran out her (again). Or does Nadia’s involvement with Matt have something to do with Katherine?

A Spell For Bonnie

Silas promised Damon that he’d bring Bonnie back from the dead. But it appears as if that promise went out the window when Amara drained Silas of his blood. However that doesn’t mean all faith is gone for Bonnie. “After a surprising conversation with Amara, Jeremy and Bonnie share a glimmer of hope,” teases the synopsis.

And it sounds like Bonnie and Jeremy aren’t the only ones searching for a way to reverse her death. Damon hasn’t given up yet either. He’ll reportedly look to Tessa for help in his new plan after Silas falls through.

The “Triple-Banger”

Nina Dobrev has pulled double duty playing both Elena and Katherine in some scenes. But now the actress will be on triple duty. According to executive producer Julie Plec, episode 7 will feature “not just one, not just two, but three Nina Dobrevs all in one scene.” Plec teased to TV Line that it’s one of her favorite scenes from not only the entire fifth season … but the last couple of seasons!

You can watch episode 7 of “The Vampire Diaries” when it airs on the CW on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m. What do you think will happen on “The Vampire Diaries”? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
