Vampire Diaries
Episode 12 will find Nadia in an awkward and confusing conversation with Matt. CW

Who is ready for more “Vampire Diaries” drama? The hit CW series doesn’t return for its midseason premiere, episode 11, until Jan. 23, but fans can jump ahead a bit thanks to the leaked synopsis for episode 12.

“The Devil Inside” is slated to air on Jan. 30 and will reintroduce Damon’s old Augustine friend, Enzo. The recently freed (but long tortured) vampire is not really familiar with proper etiquette in 2014 and will deliver a “gruesome present” to Damon. Whatever that gift may be, Enzo will insist that the pair “bond by committing an act of revenge.” And while the leaked synopsis teases that Damon will try to do the “honorable thing,” fans can’t help but think that Enzo is going to drive Damon back into his dark, evil ways.

As Damon struggles with his Enzo entanglement, Matt will find himself in an “awkward and confusing conversation” with Nadia … which will lead him to throw a party! (Who doesn’t love a Mystic Falls shindig?) At the party, Caroline will make a “stunning confession” to Elena – perhaps having something to do with her “scandalous behavior” in episode 11. Caroline’s confession will come with consequences, and she’ll be forced to face not only Stefan, but Tyler. (YES! Tyler is back!)

While the Mystic Falls crew is partying, Aaron will be trying to “make amends for his family’s past misdeeds” and in doing so starts to create a new life for himself. With Enzo and Damon on the loose, it’s easy to assume that he’ll be in danger, but it’s Elena that “Vampire Diaries” viewers will have to keep their fingers crossed for. According to the synopsis, Elena will find herself in a “life-threatening situation with only minutes to figure out how to save herself.”

Episode 12 will follow the 100th episode of “The Vampire Diaries,” “500 Years of Solitude.” Episode 11 will find Katherine on her deathbed and the Mystic Falls crew reviewing some of her finer moments … while toasting to her demise. Fans will be treated to a flashback to 1490, when Katherine gave birth to Nadia and was forced to give her up; meanwhile, in the modern day, Nadia will be concocting a “frightening plan to protect her mother.”
