Vampire Diaries
Season five of “The Vampire Diaries” premieres Oct. 3. CW

Fans of “The Vampire Diaries” are in for a treat! The titles for the first five episodes of season 5 have leaked online and they are bloody juicy!

As we previously reported, the premiere episode is called “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” and will pick up as Elena and Caroline head to college. Now, thanks to SpoilerTV, we know the titles for episodes two through five:

Episode 1 -- “I Know What You Did Last Summer”

Episode 2 -- “True Lies”

Episode 3 -- “Original Sin”

Episode 4 -- “For Whom The Bell Tolls”

Episode 5 -- “Monsters Ball”

So far, the only released synopsis is for episode one, however based on the names and some previous spoilers, we have a couple ideas of what kind of drama can be waiting for fans.

The Introduction Of ‘True Blood’ Star Janina Gavankar

Former “True Blood” star Janina Gavankar will be joining “The Vampire Diaries” for its fifth season as Tessa, a “beautiful and exotic self-assured woman who comes to town to rekindle an old flame.”

A first-look photo at TV Guide shows Gavankar’s Tessa interacting with actor Paul Wesley -- but is Wesley playing the youngest Salvatore brother, Stefan? Or is he visiting Tessa as evil doppelganger Silas?

Our theory is that Tessa is an old flame of Silas’ and that their story will be revealed in episode three, “Original Sin.”

Another Town Party

“Monsters Ball”? Sounds like Mystic Falls has another dance on its hands! Thanks to previous spoilers published by BuddyTV, we know that another newcomer this year will be Megan, a “smartypants” who attends the 1950s theme Mystic Falls dance and “attempts to charm the pants off Jeremy.”

But as every “Vampire Diaries” fan knows, no school dance is without some major drama -- and monsters.

“The Vampire Diaries” season five will premiere on Oct. 3 at 8 p.m. EDT. What are your theories on the new season? Let us know in the comments section.
