‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 7 Spoilers: Episode 19 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’? [VIDEO]

It’s a race to save Bonnie’s life on “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7, but none of the vampires can help her. Rayna might be the only one who can save the witch from the pills that blocked her magic. The capsules were made of Rayna’s blood, and the hunter claimed the effects couldn’t be reversed. Yet it seems she might reveal some information she was withholding in episode 19 of the CW drama.

Enzo (Michael Malarkey) didn’t realize that the magic-inhibiting pills would put Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) life in danger, but he is determined to save her — even if it means teaming up with the ultimate vampire hunter. “Rayna (Leslie Anne-Huff) may hold the key to her survival,” the synopsis teases.

Rayna won’t be the only frenemy they have to team up with. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) isn’t on good terms with any of his former friends, but they’ll be desperate enough to work with the older Salvatore in episode 19, titled “Somebody That I Used to Know.” “With time running out and Rayna at the reins, Enzo and Bonnie reluctantly team up with Damon, who is desperate to save Bonnie’s life and to repair their broken friendship,” the synopsis reveals.

Since Rayna is in charge, they’ll need to do her a favor. In the promo video, Damon and Bonnie are shown teaming up to take out the souls who escaped the Phoenix Stone. Will killing evil psychopaths together help heal their friendship?

There might be some more twists revealed in episode 19. “Enzo learns The Armory’s true motives behind their search for Bonnie,” the summary teases. Bonnie told Enzo last week that they wanted her to open a vault locked by another Bennet witch. Could they have bigger plans for Bonnie?

Elsewhere, Stefan (Paul Wesley) will go to Texas, but trying to visit his ex Caroline (Candice King) isn’t going to go well. “When Stefan travels to Dallas and comes face to face with Alaric (Matt Davis), tensions escalate and they are forced to confront the fallout from Stefan’s absence in Caroline’s life.” Stefan might not be welcomed back to Caroline’s life with open arms.

“The Vampire Diaries” Season 7, episode 19 airs Friday, April 22, at 8 p.m. EDT on the CW.
