The television personality, who is married to singer Nick Lachey, announced the name change on her Twitter account back in November. She recently said in an interview with Access Hollywood that she's not even hyphenating her name. She'll just be plain old Vanessa Joy Lachey from now on, thank you very much.

And her hubby had nothing to do with it.

He didn't push me, she clarified on Access Hollywood. She described herself as an old-fashioned kind of gal who's into that sort of thing.

The name change could be a sign that things are going quite well for the couple, who tied the knot back in July.

It feels different because you have this security blanket, if you will, of knowing that your partner and your best friend is there forever and ever, not that we didn't know that before, but now we really know it, she said of marriage.

Well, name changing is no guarantee, but we're hoping this celebrity marriage lasts.
