Former boxing champion and actor Victor Ortiz was arrested at the Kenny Chesney concert in Pasadena, California, over the weekend for assault with a deadly weapon, TMZ reported Monday. Ortiz and his brother were in Pasadena's Rose Bowl stadium to attend the show by country music singers Chesney and Jason Aldean, when they got involved in a verbal argument with another man.

The argument later escalated and resulted in the brothers' arrest. TMZ reported, citing law enforcement officials, that at one point, the other man -- whose identity has not been revealed -- was on the ground during the fight and Ortiz kicked him. Police officials arrested “The Expendables 3” star and his brother during the concert on charges of felony assault with a deadly weapon. The weapon was identified as Ortiz’s foot, TMZ reported.

Ortiz, who is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 160 lbs, was later released on $30,000 bail, and has not yet commented on the incident. The 28-year-old was previously a WBC Welterweight Champion and had lost his title to Floyd Mayweather in 2011.
