Fashion designer Victoria Beckham is paying tribute to her Minion makeover. She is the latest in the long list of designers to be given a Minion character makeover this week.

The 41-year-old designer appeared to be thrilled as she shared a picture on Instagram of herself dressed as the popular “Despicable Me” character. She showed off her quirkier side by posing in a Minion-inspired outfit, a yellow and blue colour jumpsuit complete with a hoodie.

The hood covered her face and featured the famous pair of eyes. The former Spice Girl ditched her trademark black minimalist outfits for the camera. “What can I say? I was inspired x vb #Minions,” she captioned the hilarious snap. The picture was juxtaposed alongside a photo of the Victoria Beckham Minion cartoon.

Victoria’s cartoon character sees her dressed head to toe in her signature color, black. She is wearing oversized sunglasses as she strikes her trademark pose – hand on hip with one foot in front of the other, Mirror UK reported.

However, the designer is not the only one from the famous family to be a fan of the Minion. Her retired footballer husband David Beckham, 40, recently sported the cartoon character on his stomach in June. The new body art, which was temporary, was reportedly chosen by the couple’s daughter, Harper.

She had picked the cartoon character for her dad. Victoria shared the tattoo of the little yellow henchman from the “Despicable Me” and “Minions” films on Twitter. A representative of the couple soon confirmed it was just a tattoo transfer.

“Harper has just added to Daddie's tattoo collection x happy Tuesday in the sunshine! X vb,” she wrote alongside a snap of the design, which she shared with her 6.3 million followers. It caused a frenzy on social media as fans were delighted at the father-daughter bonding moment.

Meanwhile, Victoria is not the only fashionista to get a Minion makeover. Others who have been turned into Minions include legendary German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, British designer Vivienne Westwood, model and actress Cara Delevingne and Marc Jacobs.
