Within three days of returning to London from Los Angeles, Victoria Beckham has been put under the microscope, with critics calling her skinny, gaunt and malnourished.

The 37-year-old mother of four, who last week presented her collection at New York Fashion Week, has spoken out against her critics, saying she is like any other working mom: Tired.

Look, if people want to say I'm miserable then so be it, she says. I'm really not. I have a lot on my plate. I'm not going to lie about it, I'm tired. I'm really tired but I'm also very happy with my life, she told the Daily Mirror.

I'm basically just like any woman who's working and has lots of children--it's tough, she added.

Beckham has spent the past few weeks jetting between Los Angeles, New York and London with her four children, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 9, Cruz, 6, and Harper, 7 months.

Beckham revealed to the Daily Mirror that she hasn't been sleeping well since Harper's birth. Harper's not sleeping that great, and I've been taking Skype business calls throughout the night, too, because of the collections. I'm up with the baby as all mums are and I wouldn't have it any other way. There's not a team of people doing it for me, she said.

Reacting to weight loss allegations, Beckham says she started working out after giving birth to Harper, but decided to stop. I guess once Harper finally starts sleeping all the way through the night then I will start working out again, she said.

The fashion designer spoke out to her critics asking them to give her break and just understand that she is not different from any other working mom. She says she won't be able to have a break until Harper starts sleeping at night.

Beckham recently launched her Victoria dress line at Harvey Nichols in London. She told the Daily Mirror that she doesn't smile much but that's not to say she doesn't have a sense of humor or is unhappy.

Talking about her children Beckham said, The boys love sport and they're very good at drawing and art.

Brooklyn is amazing at creative writing, too, and Cruz is obviously a superhero. He's in his own little world. They're such great spirits but we're very strict parents. You have to be with kids these days. They have to do their homework and if it's not done then they can't do other things.
