Andy Dalton Bengals

Down 17-10 with no time left on the clock, it looked like the Cincinnati Bengals were about to lose their second straight game. That is until A.J. Green made an improbable Hail Mary catch.

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton made a last-second heave into the end zone as regulation expired. As it landed near the end zone, a scrum of players fighting for position inadvertently knocked it in the air, and Green, completely uncovered, calmly pulled it in to force over time. Baltimore safety James Ihedigbo received some heated words from cornerback Jimmy Smith for tipping the ball back.

The improbable play, unfortunately, didn't foretell a happy ending for the Bengals, who eventually lost 20-17 in overtime. It was also Cincinnati's second consecutive loss in overtime, following last week's letdown to Miami which ended on a safety.

Deciding not to try the two-point conversion, Cincinnati started with the ball in overtime but the offense failed to repeat the magic, and Baltimore kicker Justin Tucker converted his 46-yard attempt for the win.

Along with that miraculous catch, Green totaled eight balls for 151 yards for his fifth straight 100-yard game of the year, and leads the NFL with 862 receiving yards and five touchdowns off 57 receptions.

The loss drops the Bengals to 6-4, but they still hold a two-game lead over the Ravens and Browns in the AFC North.
