Manchester City ran over Hull City 2-0 on Saturday, but the highlight of the match wasn’t a goal.

Hull midfielder George Boyd appeared to spit in City goalkeeper Joe Hart’s face after a collision near City’s net and following a stare down.

Hart was issued a yellow card in the 69th minute after Boyd went down from the keeper's slide, and Hart appeared to take umbrage with the way Boyd went down. The Big Lead posted a video of the entire incident below earlier on Saturday.

According to Daily Mail Boyd should expect some sort of retribution from the FA, and the site called his display after the foul a dive.

The Vine below shows a close up of Boyd’s face as the two players are separated. A dribble of what appears to be spit flew across to Hart’s face.

This incident comes one week after Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew was sent off and later punished for head-butting David Meyler.

Hull are in 13th place on the Premier League table after the loss.
