A video surfaced that appears to show Florida State freshman quarterback De'Andre Johnson punching a woman in the face at a bar last month. Jordan was charged with misdemeanor battery after the alleged incident took place at a Tallahassee bar on June 24.

The State Attorney’s office released surveillance footage Monday showing a woman arguing with Johnson at a bar before he grabs her arm, she swings, and he retaliates with a punch directly to her face, according to The Tallahassee-Democrat.

A warrant was issued for Johnson's arrest and he turned himself in on June 30. FSU had already suspended Johnson from the team indefinitely for an undisclosed violation of team rules.

State Attorney Willie Meggs said he chose to charge Johnson, 19, with misdemeanor battery after watching the clip.

The woman claims Johnson pushed passed her “aggressively” while she waited for her drink at the bar. The video shows the woman speaking to Johnson before he grabs her arm and pushes her. She then tried to use her knee to create separation before Johnson hit her, according to The Democrat.

The Democrat first posted a longer clip that’s been reduced to less than a minute and a half below. It is graphic in nature and should only be watched at the viewer’s discretion.
