Neymar nearly added to Barcelona's 2-1 lead against Juventus in the Champions League Final in Berlin, but his header that found its way past Gigi Buffon in the 71st minute was disallowed. On replay, the officials made the right call, as Neymar headed the ball into his own hand.
The header came three minutes after Luis Suarez put Barca ahead with a goal in the 68th minute. While Neymar celebrated, the goal was called back, and no amount of discussion with the officials was going to reverse it.
The play began with what could have been a costly turnover by the Juve defense. Jordi Alba intercepted the poor pass and delivered the cross to Neymar, who was streaking up the middle.
