After some disappointing finishes in 2015, Rafael Nadal received a much-needed boost on Sunday. The Spaniard held off Victor Troicki of Serbia at the Mercedes Cup in Stuttgart with a straight sets victory in the final, 7-6 (3), 6-3.

The win was Nadal's first title on grass since Wimbledon in 2010. The victory may be a confidence builder, as Nadal looks to overcome the disappointment of losing in straight sets to Novak Djokovic in the French Open quarterfinals.

"I'm really, really happy. It's my second win this year and it gives me a lot of confidence," said Nadal after the match. He had nine aces against the eighth-seed Troicki.

In the lead-up to the final, Nadal defeated Gael Monfils, Bernard Tomic and Marcos Baghdatis. He only dropped two total sets in the tournament.

Wimbledon is set to begin on June 29. Nadal has been listed as a 10/1 favorite to win at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. He trails Djokovic (6/5), Andy Murray (3/1) and Roger Federer (6/1).
