In a tune up before the Copa del Rey, Cristiano Ronaldo fired off a hat trick in Real Madrid’s 4-0 domination of Getafe on Sunday in La Liga play.

The Portuguese star netted all of his goals in an 11-minute span, and all in the second half. Ronaldo now has 21 goals in league play this year.

Sergio Ramos broke up the scoreless game in the 58th after Ricardo Carvalho hit the ball away from Getafe keeper Miguel Moya, but the referees missed the alleged foul.

Ronaldo’s first goal came on a fast break, with an excellent lead pass for Mezut Ozil. Shortly after, Ronaldo flew into the box for a soft header and his second goal. He then capped his scoring with penalty kick in the 72nd.

Winners of four straight La Liga games, Los Blancos will now prepare for their match up with rival Barcelona in the Copa del Rey.
