Using a starting lineup composed mainly of reserves, Real Madrid made easy work of Ponferradina, 5-1, in the second leg of Copa del Rey, on Tuesday at Santiago Bernabeu.

The defending Copa del Rey champions advanced out of the fourth round on aggregate, 7-1.

Los Galacticos received two goals from Jose Maria Callejon, as well as one goal each from Nuri Sahin, Raphael Varane, and Mato Joselu. Midfielder Acoran Barrera scored in the 53rd minute for Ponferradina, a second division club.

Jose Mourinho used some regulars, which included Sami Khedira, Mesut Ozil, Pepe, and Karim Benzema, though the French forward was replaced in the 78th minute. Mourinho also started notable reserves Esteban Granero and Hamit Altintop.

Real Madrid's next match is a home match against Granada in La Liga.
