Making his debut for the Badgers, Russell Wilson ran for a 46-yard touchdown and threw two touchdown passes as No. 11 Wisconsin dismantled UNLV, 51-17, at Camp Randall Stadium on Thursday night in Madison.

Bret Bielema's squad got their season off to a great start as the offense amassed 499 total yards compared to the Runnin' Rebels' 292.

It was all Wisconsin from the start of the game. Running back Montee Ball rushed for three touchdowns, and had 63 yards on 10 carries. Ball also had two receptions, which included a 63-yard touchdown score.

The game was basically over at halftime, with the Badgers leading 37-3.

UNLV didn't commit a turnover, and got a decent outing from new starting quarterback Caleb Herring who completed 18-of-27 passes for 146 yards.

Sophomores Bradley Randle and Tim Cornett rushed for 65 yards on 12 carries, and 61 yards on 14 carries, respectively.

We weren't ready to come in here and beat a top 10 team, certainly. But with that being said, we're going to be all right, head coach Bobby Hauck said. I like our guys. I like the way we play. There were a lot of negatives but there were a lot of positives to build off of.
