The “feud” between Jennifer Lawrence and Lindsay Lohan took many fans by surprise and has earned mixed reactions from the public. The issue was also tackled on “The View” where host Raven Symone shared her insights on the situation.

Symone defended Lohan during Wednesday’s episode (Dec. 16) of “The View” where she told the panel how the former Disney star has had to deal with several challenges in her life, Entertainment Tonight reported. She explained that Lohan “has had problems in her life from family to work.” She went to say how “nobody ever believes [her]” when she talks about these issues, however, she stressed that people in Hollywood have problems too.

"Just because you have a lot of money ... You know what I'm talking about,” she said during the show. “People hate when I talk about it but I don't care, because I have issues too, and just because I'm a celebrity and I'm famous and I have money, it doesn't mean I don't have issues. I'm still a human first. And Lindsay has issues that need to be taken care of."

And while she stood by Lohan with her comments, Symone commented that Lawrence is also free to refer to Lohan’s previous struggles with drugs and alcohol, given the industry that they belong to. She explained that as celebrities, they have become “public domain” where everything they do can be scrutinized or talked about.

Symone stated, "We are public domain, that's the sad part … Our lives get talked about even when we don't want it talked about, or if we do want it talked about. So anyone trying to start a fight with those two, that's public domain."

The “feud” between Lawrence and Lohan started when the “Hunger Games” actress made an offhand remark about the “Mean Girls” star during an interview on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Lawrence shared that she doesn’t stop working and would keep on going until her body gets tired. “I get, like, Lindsay Lohan-grade exhaustion, but without any drugs or alcohol …” she told host Colbert.

The actress’ comments elicited responses from Lohan, her sister and mother. The former Disney star fired back against Lawrence on Twitter and uploaded a message which read, “You may shoot me with your words, you may cut me with your eyes, you may kill me with your hatefulness, but still, like air, I'll rise."

Lohan’s sister, Aliana and mother Dina, also expressed their disappointment over Lawrence’s comments. Lohan’s mother said in a statement, “You shouldn’t trash anyone, it was just surprising. My family sticks together."
