Andrew Bachelor, otherwise known to the millions of people who follow him on social media as King Bach, has always planned on being a full-fledged actor, he just had to figure out a way to break into acting that worked for him.

The once-popular, now-defunct social video platform Vine, was that way. King Bach garnered millions of followers and even more millions of views on all of his comedy content before eventually making his way over to YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and other social platforms. Of course, his loyal following joined him at all of these online locations.

Now, he’s testing his audience as he continues to focus on the more mainstream avenues of acting, TV shows and movies. He’s building his Bach Empire and he wants to make sure everyone comes along for the ride.

With four movies coming out in 2017, including Netflix’s “The Babysitter” with Bella Thorne and Robbie Amell and Lionsgate’s “Where’s The Money” with Kat Graham, and several others coming out after that, it’s safe to say that King Bach has successfully broken into the world of acting.

International Business Times caught up with the now online-and-mainstream star to chat about how he got involved with the upcoming comedy “Where’s The Money,” which comes out on Oct. 20, what it was like working with the cast of his horror flick “The Babysitter,” which comes out Oct. 13, and what to expect of his character in the “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” film adaptation.

International Business Times: How did you get involved with “Where’s The Money,” which also stars Kat Graham and Logan Paul?

King Bach: The producer, he approached me, and he wanted to collab with me to do a movie. And I hear tons of that all the time, but he actually got the financing behind in it through a guy named Zack Schiller who was also a producer on this movie, “The Babysitter,” that I did. I guess they both believed in my talent and went for it with it and got a script made and it got a director attached, Scott Zabielski, and then we started shooting and we shot it in 16 days.

IBT: What was your first reaction after reading the script?

KB: Of course, I loved it, but whenever you read a script, there’s always going to be things in it that you don’t like. We went through like three drafts of scripts before it got to where we liked it and then we were ready to rock.

IBT: What was it like working with “The Vampire Diaries” alum Kat Graham?

KB: Oh yeah, I loved the show. She’s amazing on the show and when I heard that she was cast in it [the movie], I was happy.

IBT: You’ve worked with Logan Paul in the past on online video, but how was it different working with him on a full-length movie?

KB: It was great. It was kind of still like doing the videos that we do, just on a much larger budget and a much higher scale. Logan’s a great guy to work with. I guess you could say we grew up together on social media, with doing the Vines together. We were were neighbors while we filmed it. We lived in the same apartment building.

IBT: With a mix of social, movie and TV stars, what was the set life like?

KB: Everyone had a blast. It was one of those sets where the cast, the crew, producers, we all hit it off immediately and every day, it wasn’t going to work, it was going to play. And that’s what a job should be.

IBT: You’re also a producer on the film, was that an important thing for you to be able to do on the film?

KB: Yeah, I’m trying to build my brand. The whole Bach Enterprise brand and I figured why not start it with a movie that I’m starring in.

IBT: Do you want to continue to produce in the future?

KB: Yeah, and that’s why I started doing the YouTube videos. To practice my directing, my acting and my writing skills.

IBT: You also have a new horror film, “The Babysitter,” coming out on Netflix soon. What can you say about your character?

KB: My character, his name is John, he’s kind of a rapper and he’s one of those guys who will do anything to make it. Illuminati confirmed .

IBT: What was it like working with the cast of “The Babysitter”?

KB: Oh, they are a blast. Bella, Robbie, Hana Mae, Samara, Judah, they’re all great. I actually did another movie with Robbie, called “When We First Met.” That’ll come to Netflix next Valentine’s Day and we shot that in New Orleans. That was a blast, too. Adam DeVine, from “Workaholics.” So I can’t wait for that to come out too.

IBT: Since you’re a part of the Netflix family, is there a Netflix series you want to guest star on?

KB: Ooh, “Stranger Things.” I love “Stranger Things.”

IBT: Aside from the comedy and the horror movie, you’ve been working on the film adaptation of Jenny Han’s “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.” Do you feel pressure to do it justice ?

KB: There is a lot of pressure to get things right, on the cast. But, see, my character, he wasn’t in the book. My character’s a new addition to the movie, but there is a huge amount of pressure on the cast to read the book, understand it and what the characters are, because it’s not just about how you feel about the character, but what the character actually is because there happens to be a successful book that was written about it.

IBT: Did you feel extra pressure because your character is new and has to fit in with all the other characters?

KB: No, not at all. That actually took the load off me. That made me come in just guns a-blazing.

IBT: What can you say about your character?

KB: He’s fun-loving, definitely the life of the party, adds energy to every situation.

King Bach’s “The Babysitter” comes out on Netflix on Oct. 13 and his film “Where’s The Money” will be out on Oct. 20.
