Vodafone Group Plc today announced that it has transferred to participants in its employee share schemes, shares of US$0.11 3/7, which previously were held as treasury shares.

The shares were transferred on 19th September. In total 119,605 ordinary shares were transferred. The highest transfer price per share was 116.25p, whilst the lowest stood at 92.99.

Following the transfer Vodafone now holds 5,328,329,925 of its ordinary shares in treasury and 52,661,344,776 ordinary shares in issue if treasury shares are excluded.
