With NBC’s “The Voice” getting busy both on the stage and behind the scenes, last season’s judge is finally commenting on the recent drama surrounding the Season 9 coaches chairs. Christina Aguilera shared her thoughts on the recently revealed relationship between Blake Shelton and her replacement on the show, Gwen Stefani.

As previously reported that the two “Voice” coaches allegedly started dating soon after their divorces. Stefani split from Gavin Rossdale in August and Shelton announced his separation from his wife of four years, Miranda Lambert, in July. Aguilera, who acts as an on-again-off-again judge on the hit singing competition recently spoke to Us Weekly about the relationship announcement, saying that she’s in full support of the pairing.

“I kept telling them both to stay strong and have fun!” she said. “Divorce and life is hard enough! If you find someone who makes you happy, you gotta go for it. So they deserve it and they deserve to be happy!”

Stefani took over for her good friend Aguilera in the 2015/2016 season, but Variety reports that Aguilera will return to the show in Season 10 as a judge and coach once again. That will mean she’ll be taking her spot back from Stefani and joining Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine.

The 46-year-old No Doubt singer has been a little all over the road when it comes to her “relationship” with Shelton. As previously reported, the singer denied claims that she was dating the 39-year-old country singer despite each of their reps allegedly confirming the news.

“This is what I’ll say about that, I never said nothing about being in a new relationship. I don’t know who said that, but somebody did and then my kid came in last night to tell me about it, so that’s how crazy my life is. People just can say whatever they want and then they can just believe it,” she told San Diego's Channel 93.3 radio show (via TMZ).

So, while it’s unclear if there actually is a budding romance happening behind the scenes of “The Voice” Season 9, it seems that Season 10’s returning diva is on board with the idea if it turns out to be real.
