West African miner Golden Star said on Wednesday that its revenues for the first half of the year rose 1.2 percent to $226.3 million, compared with $223.5 million for the same period a year ago.

The miner said in a statement that it returned to profitability in the six months to June with a net income of $880,000, compared with a net loss of $14.86 million last year. (Reporting by Christian Akorlie)
