If you're looking for a console bundle at a fair price, Wal-Mart's Cyber Week online specials may not offer much in terms of video games and platforms. But if you know the tricks of the trade, you could still bag a bundle or two.

One of the primary points you have to remember - whether you're purchasing a Sony PlayStation 3 or a Microsoft Xbox 360 - is that the advertisements for the bundles will show free games that may not be as fun as you first think. Always read the fine print before you invest your hard-earned money!

The terms and conditions of most of these offers state that with every console (an Xbox 360, for example), you will be allowed one Top-Selling game title for free. In other words, the retailer will have a pre-selected list of game and you will have to choose from that list. So do check that the game you want is on that list before opting for the deal. The same rules apply to the PlayStation 3 and its Greatest Hits range.
