Walking Dead
Michonne in episode 11 of "The Walking Dead." Gene Page/AC

On Sunday, the second half of “The Walking Dead’s” fourth season will continue with episode 11, “Claimed.” AMC viewers finally caught up with the surviving members of the prison the week before – but with new threats and a defeated attitude, will they be able to pull through?

As we previously reported, episode 11 will follow Rick as he’s plagued by immediate threats. Meanwhile, other group members will be forced to deal with their past.

Episode 9 found Rick and Carl reuniting with Michonne, while episode 10 showed the remaining separated prison survivors – Glenn and Tara; Tyreese, Carol and the kids; Beth and Daryl; and Maggie, Sasha and Bob. Will all the character storylines merge in episode 11? Or are the “group members” mentioned in the “Claimed” synopsis referring to Carl and Michonne?

Currently Rick is physically beat-up, and has no idea that his daughter Judith is still alive. Fortunately Michonne was able to track him and Carl down, but as fans learned last week, the trio has a lot to work out. Episode 10 exposed not only Carl’s anger with Rick over being unable to protect baby Judith, but also revealed Michonne’s life pre-zombie apocalypse. And thanks to a leaked sneak peek video, it appears Michonne will be using her experiences to help Rick and Carl overcome their perceived loss of Judith.

“This place – is it home?” Michonne asks in the preview. “Or just a stop along the way?”

“Well, let’s just stay here while we figure it out,” Rick responds.

Michonne, who found fresh clothes in the home, nods her head. “We’ll need more supplies,” she tells him. “I’ll go with Carl to get some.”

Rick wants to come to, but Michonne immediately denies his request. “You were unconscious yesterday,” she says. But that’s not a good enough answer for Rick. “Well, I’m awake today,” he counters.

“We need you strong,” Michonne pleads. “Just rest … just one more day.”

Since joining the prison group, Michonne has developed a special friendship with Carl and has become someone that Rick can trust and rely on. By separating the strained pair, it seems Michonne is giving Rick the time he needs to grieve what he just lost, while allowing Carl to feel like he’s contributing.

However, the speculated death of baby Judith might be retriggering Michonne’s own grief over losing her young child when the zombie outbreak began. Will she be able to continue fighting? Or will she eventually break under the stress?

Walking Dead
Dr. Eugene Porter in episode 11 of "The Walking Dead." Gene Page/AMC

“Walking Dead” viewers will have to wait and see, but leaked photos from episode 11 reveal that we’ll get to see what happened among Glenn, Tara and the newcomers. As we previously reported, the three new characters to join season 4 are Sgt. Abraham Ford, Rosita Espinosa and Dr. Eugene Porter. The leaked photo shows Dr. Eugene Porter in all his mullet glory – but will he be a friendly face to Glenn and Tara? Or is Porter’s trio a threat?
