When "Walking Dead" fans last left off, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) was forced to climb up the lookout post to escape the walkers. AMC

Remember earlier this month when “Walking Dead” star Lauren Cohan chopped her hair and made fans panic? Well, the 33-year-old actress showed off her stylish – and much shorter – new hairdo in a video with her Season 6 co-stars.

The video. titled “Happy Holidays from #TWD,” was released on the AMC show’s Twitter account Wednesday evening. Cohan is joined by her castmates Michael Cudlitz, Seth Gilliam, Sonequa Martin-Green and Ross Marquand. The group wishes their fans a happy holiday while promoting “The Walking Dead” marathon that is currently airing on AMC.

“Thank you again for watching the show and being a part of this family,” Cohan says in the video. “Love you.”

“Hang in there,” Cudlitz follows up. “The second part of the season is coming up real soon. Enjoy yourselves. Relax. It’ll be okay.”

“The Walking Dead” returns for the second half of its season on Sunday, Feb. 14. When viewers last left off, multiple lives were left hanging in the air – including that of Cohan’s character, Maggie. The pregnant Alexandria survivor was on the ground when the wall fell and unable to make it to a house for safety. Instead, she was forced to climb a ladder up to one of the lookout points. The makeshift stand looked shaky as a large group of walkers gathered underneath, but fortunately, Maggie’s husband, Glenn (Steven Yeun) had eyes on her from afar. The episode ended before fans could find out if Glenn had a plan to reach her, or if the weight and force of the walkers made the lookout point fall.

Of course, viewers began to speculate that Maggie wouldn’t make it out alive after a photo of her with her new haircut at Z100’s Jingle Ball concert in New York City on Dec. 11 began to circulate. However, it’s important to note that Cohan’s character has a very similar short hairdo in Robert Kirkman’s “Walking Dead” graphic novels.
