The Survivors are bound and determined to take down Negan on “The Walking Dead.” They know it won’t be easy, but it looks like they’re figuring it out.

A preview for Season 7, episode 12 of the AMC show proves the stress of their mission is setting in. Rosita (Christian Serratos) appears frustrated after all she’s been through. Tara (Alanna Masterson) assures her that everything is “going to work out,” but Rosita’s not convinced.

She says the Survivors have enough manpower to take on Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and the Saviors. The only thing they’re lacking are guns — which will be hard, albeit not impossible, to find. Rosita is quick to give Tara a reality check and take matters into her own hands.

“We need guns,” she tells Tara. “I’m going to go find them.”

Another — seen at the top of the page — teases a fruitful excursion for Rick and Michonne (Danai Gurira). The two set out driving and stumble upon what appears to be a compound. They investigate further, knowing that there are most likely weapons there. In true “Walking Dead” fashion, they bite off a little more than they can chew and find themselves in trouble.

The clips suggests battle with the Survivors is imminent. “The Walking Dead” fans mustn’t forget, though, that Rick’s crew has a man on the inside. Eugene (Josh McDermitt) is at Negan’s headquarters and has pledged allegiance to the evil leader. Some “Walking Dead” fans believe he’s gone to the dark side, but there’s still hope.

While Eugene settles into life at Saviors HQ — which looks more comfortable than when Daryl (Norman Reedus) was there — his pals are preparing. During episode 10, Rick encountered his most challenging mission outside of pleasing Negan. The survivors got captured and their fearless leader put to the test. Rick’s dropped into a pit where he destroys an armor-clad zombie against all odds.

He and his crew are at the top of their game and, at this point, have seen it all. Daryl reunited with his beloved crossbow during Season 7. All is right in the world of “The Walking Dead,” and we can’t wait to see what comes next.

Tune in to AMC Sunday at 9 p.m. EST for Season 7, episode 12.
