Wall Street rebounded on Friday as investors digested Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's remarks and regained hope the door was still open for further monetary stimulus down the road.

The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> added 167.94 points, or 1.51 percent, to 11,317.76. The Standard & Poor's 500 <.SPX> gained 20.60 points, or 1.78 percent, to 1,179.87. The Nasdaq Composite <.IXIC> rose 58.18 points, or 2.40 percent, to 2,477.81.
