Wall Street opens up on Kraft outlook

Stocks edged higher at the open on Wednesday as a positive outlook from Kraft Foods Inc revived hopes for a strong earnings season, and Chinese Internet search engine Baidu Inc surged on news rival Google Inc may pull out of China.

The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was up 32.12 points, or 0.30 percent, at 10,659.38. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> gained 3.18 points, or 0.28 percent, at 1,139.40. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> rose 10.42 points, or 0.46 percent, at 2,292.73.
