(REUTERS) -- Wall Street stocks opened lower on Wednesday after a sharp market rally in the previous session, as investors' focus again returned to the Eurozone's debt problems.

The Dow Jones industrial average shed 25.27 points, or 0.20 percent, at 12,372.11. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index lost 2.65 points, or 0.21 percent, at 1,274.41. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 8.56 points, or 0.32 percent, at 2,640.16.
