Adult-film actress Christy Mack won’t be returning to the porn industry, according to a tweet she posted over the weekend. Mack is still in the hospital recovering from an alleged assault by ex-boyfriend Jonathan Koppenhaver, aka War Machine, a professional MMA fighter. The vicious attack left the 23-year-old star with 18 broken bones, a ruptured liver and a fractured rib.

Last week, HollywoodLife reported that Mack would return to the industry after she healed from the assault, according to an unnamed source.

“She has a long road ahead of her to heal, but she knows that when she is 100 percent healthy, she will return to porn,” a source revealed to HollywoodLife.com on Aug 13. “With all the news on her and this situation, she knows that people will be more interested in her work and she will take advantage of that and get some great paydays out if it.”

It appears, from Mack's tweet, that this isn’t true.

The alleged incident, which took place Aug. 8 at Mack's Las Vegas home, left Mack with a slew of injuries. After tracking Koppenhaver for a week while he was on the run, police caught up with him in Simi Valley, California, where he was “sitting in the hotel room with a pizza and a small amount of cash,” TMZ reported. Koppenhaver was taken to Ventura County jail on seven arrest warrants.

Though he has yet to release a statement, his last tweet claimed he was innocent.

Duane Chapman, aka Dog the Bounty Hunter, 61, joined in on the hunt for the MMA fighter last week.

“This guy did a terrible, horrendous thing to a woman. And there is so many people who I can't believe on social media who thought she deserves this. And I was thinking, wait a minute, these kids -- these younger guys -- need to realize and be taught that you don't hit a woman,” Chapman told MMA Mania earlier this week. “I am a husband and a father. Anytime any kind of girl is beaten like this by any kind of man -- and he's been on the run -- he enters into not an MMA ring, but ‘Dog’s Ring.’”

War Machine has yet to release a statement.
