The Golden State Warriors are actively discussing a trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

According to Sports Illustrated, Timberwolves still discussing possible trade package that would send Monta Ellis to MIN for No. 2 pick, sources say.

With the No 2 pick, the Timberwolves took Arizona power forward Derrick Williams.

Williams would be ideal for the Warriors who desperately need a dominant inside player to join David Lee in the front court.

Ellis has been the subject of numerous trade rumors since Stephen Curry joined the team.

Ellis and Curry are similar players: premier scorers, small in stature, and poor to average defenders.

Other trade rumors involving Ellis include a report that Ellis, Andris Biedrins, and Ekpe Udoh were offered for Dwight Howard.

Another rumor has Ellis going to the Los Angeles Lakers for Lamar Odom, that would include the Chicago Bulls' Joakim Noah as part of a three way trade
