Sledgehammer Games launched a new “Call of Duty” trailer today, complete with epic gameplay, gunfire and an Academy Award-winning actor.

Publisher Activision is calling the title “perhaps the best ‘Call of Duty’ game ever created.’”

The almost-three-minute trailer features a character who strongly resembles “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey, 54, who will most likely play a main character in the upcoming “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” game.

Yesterday, a short clip of the trailer appeared on the game's Instagram account. The quick video ended with logos appearing from Microsoft and Xbox, though not Sony or the PlayStation logo. This leaves viewers wondering if the first-person shooter will not be available on the PS4.

On Thursday, a new screenshot was unveiled by Game Informer magazine, showing a modern or near-future setting with soldiers in the heat of battle.

This isn’t the first time the “Call of Duty” franchise has used celebrities to sell its games. Infinity Ward’s “Call of Duty: Ghosts” Epic Night Out trailer featured Hollywood actress Megan Fox, 27.
