Demi Lovato is in love with rapper Cardi B’s music and she’s sorry not sorry about it.

The 24-year-old singer stopped by Elvis Duran and The Morning Show on Thursday while in New York City for press and performances. Besides chatting about her new music and what else is going on in her life, Duran asked Lovato to put on some headphones and listen to a song he was about to play, sure she was going to love it.

In the video, Lovato was worries at first about messing up her hair with the headphones but once the song starts she stops talking about her hair mid-sentence and instead focuses on what’s really important: Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow.”

“I love this this song!” Lovato says in excitement before asking Duran if he was ready.

What for? Oh, just a little Lovato rap session. Lucky for everyone, the show posted a video of the peformance to Instagram.

Before Lovato starts, she double-checks to see if she’s allowed to curse on-air. She’s not.

Which is fine by the songstress as she’s a master at bleeping herself out, apparently. Lovato proceeds to rap the track through one big smile plastered on her face.

“I could go on, you don’t understand, I love Cardi B,” she says after finishing up, as if we couldn’t tell.

After this total fan-girl moment, perhaps Lovato will be looking to Cardi B as a guest on her upcoming album. An album which is apparently done, according to Lovato’s Instagram Story from earlier this week, except for collaborations.

“I haven’t actually had any collaborations for [my] album put together yet,” Lovato told ET in an interview shared on its site on Aug. 16. “There will be some, we just have to figure out where they go.”

While she didn’t mention Cardi B in the interview as a potential collaboration, she did say that she’d love to work with none other than fellow singer/songwriter Halsey.

In the meantime, the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer will be continuing her stay in New York City with a performance on “Good Morning America” on Friday. She will be joined by some previous collaborators of hers, Cheat Codes and Jax Jones.

She’ll be following up this event with yet another performance in New York, this time on Saturday evening at Billboard’s Hot 100 Music Festival on Long Island. She has not announced if Jones or Cheat Codes will be joining her this time around.

Fans outside of New York, fret not, as the singer told ET that she plans to tour next year. She also mentioned that she will be releasing a documentary to give an inside look at what her life looks like now and what it was like to film her upcoming album.

Music aside for a minute, Lovato is also in celebration mode as she launched her second limited-edition Fabletics clothing line on Wednesday. She kicked off the launch with a live Facebook video Q&A with Love Sweat Fitness founder/trainer and Fabletics partner Katie Dunlop. The two showed off pieces from the singer’s new line and discussed how Lovato stays confident and fit.

There’s no doubt about it, this is Lovato’s week, and we’re just happy to be spending the days with her.
