It’s been one heck of a month for the public relations departments of global airlines, as yet another incident aboard a flight has occurred. An All Nippon Airways (ANA) flight leaving Narita, Japan, became violent after two men got into a heated exchange.

Arizona-based photographer Corey Hour captured the Monday incident, which he said began when "a passenger [started] a huge fight in his row" shortly before takeoff. The passenger allegedly started yelling profanities before becoming violent.

A passenger in a black shirt involved in the incident can be heard during the scuffle yelled, "Someone help, this guy is crazy."

The other individual, who wore a red patterned shirt, responded, "I'll kill you."

According to Hour, the cause of the incident wasn’t clear. "As of now and after speaking with the other passengers the motive for why he did this is still unknown," he said. "None of us have any idea why at all."

However, Hour said that the passenger made remarks about a "crazy" government before exiting the plane.

"For the record ANA staff and passengers handled the situation with grace and respect," Hour said. "They did the best they could to diffuse the situation."

An ANA airline spokesperson confirmed Monday that the confrontation occurred shortly before takeoff on a flight bound for Los Angeles. The flight was able to depart an hour and 40 minutes later.

The man, who was allegedly intoxicated, has been identified as a 44-year-old American. When flight attendants attempted to remove him from the plane, "the man resisted, hit a woman passenger and after leaving the plane, proceeded to choke a male airline employee, which led to his arrest," according to Japan Today.

The man has reportedly been charged with assault.
