The much-awaited Pottermore website, Pottermore.com, was unveiled magically with a YouTube announcement by Harry potter author J.K. Rowling on Thursday, June 23.

The author said that Pottermore is about the eBooks of the Harry Potter series, contradicting speculation by Harry Potter fan sites that the website will feature online games.
