Web hosting company Rackspace is experiencing networking problems on Friday afternoon, which left many the Websites it host to go down as well.

As of now, Rackspace has not yet confirmed the outage, but several sites affected either posted blogs or tweeted about the outage. Popular tech sites like TechCrunch and Mashable were left affected for a while, according to PC World.

However, Rackspace Cloud System Status blog confirmed the outage. The outage lasted from at least 3:45 PM CST until 4:14 PM CST, according to the blog.

This is a networking issue affecting Cloud Sites in our DFW data center, the blog stated.

According to the blog, the outage was not caused by a problem with its power which was what caused the Rackspace Dallas-Fort Worth outage in June.
