Talk show host Wendy Williams first made a name for herself as a radio DJ host before expanding her brand. Today, Williams is a best-selling author with several books to her name, has a wig line, a fashion line and a jewelry collection. With all of that, plus her self-titled talk show, which has been on the air for 11 seasons, it's not hard to see how Williams has amassed a startling net worth.

The 54-year-old has an estimated net worth of $40, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Though, Money Inc. reports she's worth $60 million. No wonder her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, reportedly demanded a $10 million payout following the announcement of their split in April.

When it comes to her successful talk show, "The Wendy Williams Show," which premiered in 2008, she earns a whopping $15 million dollar salary, TheCinemaholic reported in January. And while it is unknown how much she makes per year with her wig line, which launched in 2013, The Daily Beast reported that, at the time, products were priced from $49 to $1,000, which could equal a nice paycheck for Williams.

Back in 2009, Williams was able to afford a New Jersey home for $2.1 million. She also owns some of the best luxury cars in the world. Wendy’s car brands include Mercedes Benz, Mini Cooper, and an Aston Martin.

With her large net worth, it has been reported Hunter is seeking a big payout when his divorce with Williams is finalized. According to Us Weekly, he is seeking alimony, child support and legal fees from her in their divorce.

"Kevin won’t go quietly. He’s seen Wendy at rock-bottom and knows all of her deepest, darkest, dirtiest secrets," a source told Radar Online last month.

Hunter, 46, and Williams, 54, had been married for nearly 22 years. They met in 1994 and married three years later. Their son, Kevin Hunter Jr., was born in 2000.
