Wendy Williams is not coming back to do her “The Wendy Williams Show” anytime soon due to her health crisis, so producers have reportedly decided to just air reruns starting next week.

A source revealed Wednesday that Williams hasn’t been communicating with the staff and crew ever since she went on hiatus. While several guest hosts are filling in for former radio personality, show producers have ultimately decided to put an end to the celebrity panels this week.

So starting next Monday, fans of Williams’ talk show will only see reruns of older episodes. It wasn’t clear how long this will last since Williams hasn’t discussed her possible return onto her iconic purple set.

Now because Williams has not informed anyone working on the show on when she can possibly come back, the staff have started to worry about their jobs and the talk show’s future.

“Staff have not heard from Wendy and are concerned for the future of their jobs. It has been a struggle,” an insider told Radar Online.

The 54-year-old celeb hasn’t been on her show since the start of 2019 after announcing that she was taking some time off due to medical concerns.

The news comes a week after a source disclosed to Us Weekly that Williams is no longer 100 percent involved in the planning for the show while she’s on an indefinite leave.

“At first they were keeping her and [husband] Kevin Hunter in the loop, getting their approval on replacement hosts and guests,” the source said, adding that now every decision producers make are no longer being brought up to Williams.

A press statement from her family last month announced that Williams was delaying her return for the third time, citing medical complications after getting diagnosed with Graves’ disease. The fashion designer is undergoing treatment under the strict supervision of her doctors.

Meanwhile, there have been reports that Williams was also dealing with marital problems following her husband’s cheating scandal. Nick Cannon, who is one of the celebrity guests hosts on Williams’s show, indirectly addressed the rumors in mid-January.

“I had a conversation with [Wendy] and her whole family and she said she wanted to speak as a family unit,” he said. The comedian also noted that Williams was “doing great” based on their conversation.
