The 2015 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show will provide canine lovers with an extensive look at their favorite breeds in action. The 139th annual event will take place from Monday through Tuesday at the Piers 92/94 and Madison Square Garden in New York City, with breed-judging live streams and live televised events available on both days.

This year’s Westminster Dog Show will feature about 2,800 dogs from 192 breeds, including the newly added Wirehaired Vizsla of the Sporting Group and the Coton de Tulear of the Non-Sporting Group. First, contenders will battle for the title of “Best of Breed” to determine which dogs will move on to the competition’s next stage.

Breed judging will occur on Monday and Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET, according to the official show schedule. The 2015 Westminster Dog Show’s breed judging live streams can be accessed on the event’s website or through the show’s official app, which will be made available before the event begins.

“Best of Breed” winners will move on to compete for the Westminster Dog Show’s seven “Best of Group” titles. “Best of Group” judging will air on live television. Monday night’s coverage will air live on CNBC from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET, during which event judges will determine “Best of Group” winners in the Hound, Toy, Herding and Non-Sporting categories.

“Best of Group” winners in the Sporting, Working and Terrier categories will be determined live Tuesday night on the USA Network from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET. The night’s coverage will also include the Westminster Dog Show’s Junior Showmanship Finals.

Live coverage will culminate Tuesday when the six “Best in Group” winners compete for the event’s ultimate honor of “Best in Show.” Judge David Merriam of Bonsall, California, will lead the panel that will determine who owns the prestigious title. “Sky,” a wire fox terrier, took home the crown at last year’s event.
