After a false alarm earlier in the week, Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa welcomed their first child together Thursday, baby boy Sebastian Taylor Thomaz.

The couple made the announcement via Twitter. Though they haven’t released a photo yet, they will likely post a picture of their newborn to the Twitterverse soon.

"Happy Birthday Sebastian 'The Bash' Taylor Thomaz!" the rapper announced on the mini-blog. "Everyone welcome this perfect young man into the world."

The 29-year-old model used to date Kanye West, but became engaged to Khalifa in March 2012 after she and West hadn’t been an item for some time.

Six months after announcing their engagement the super-star couple had some more news to share with the world. They confirmed Rose’s pregnancy during the 2012 MTV Video Awards in September as she walked down the red carpet with a burgeoning belly.

The first-time mom avidly documented her pregnancy on Twitter, sharing her growing bump and revealing she wanted to have a natural delivery.

"Today was the first day of my home birthing classes," she tweeted Jan. 13. "No meds, no hospital, just the privacy of my own home. I'm so excited for this experience!"

Khalifa told Big Boy’s Neighborhood, via the San Francisco Chronicle, that he wanted to be an important part of the delivery.

"We're gonna have a midwife and a doula at the crib and she's gonna be in a pool and it's gonna be like a relaxing environment," he explained. "And when she's ready. she's gonna tell me when to stick my hands down there and I'm gonna pull the baby out."

The natural delivery plan may have gone awry, considering it seemed Khalifa was in a hospital when he posted an Instagram picture that revealed Rose was in labor.

In a late January interview, Rose told L.A.’s Power 106 that the couple had picked out a “total boss name” for their son.

"It's funny because I came up with the name for our boy and immediately he came up with a rapper [nickname] for him," Rose said.
