The nearly sold-out Daytona 500 Sunday will feature 43 of the top drivers in the world who will compete in The Great American Race, considered the most important race on the NASCAR calendar.

Fans who can't see the race at the Daytona International Speedway can catch it on their local Fox stations at the traditional 1 p.m. start time. This will be the 54th annual race of what has been called the Super Bowl of Stock Car Racing.

Speedweeks, the 10-day stretch of stock-car races began Feb. 18, to determine the starting positions for the Daytona 500, reported Chiff.com.

Tickets for Sunday have been on sale since later summer, with almost every seat sold out. However, several seats are available on Stub Hub, with the lowest price starting at $76.

Besides Daytona, Sunday will also mark Oscar night. Click here to see which channel will broadcast the Academy Awards.
