Straight men find curvy women more attractive, according to a Dec. 13 survey conducted by fitness equipment review site Fitrated. The survey, which asked over 2,000 straight and gay people what they found to be the sexiest body part on a person, also found that straight men were most attracted to a woman’s chest whether she has an average or curvy, but prefer a nice butt on a thin woman.

As for the ladies, both straight and gay women found average body types more attractive. Straight women found arms to be the sexiest on men, whether they were average build, muscular or thin. Similar to straight men, gay women found a woman’s chest to be her sexiest feature but chest but found both the chest and stomach to be the sexiest body parts on thin women.

The report said gay men found the chest to be the sexiest part of a muscular man’s body, while 31-percent of men preferred a nice butt on a guy with an average build and 36-percent of men thought a thin man’s stomach was most attractive.

Overall, gay and straight men and women found the eyes to be the most attractive facial feature on a person, while straight and gay women, and gay men found the jawline to be the second sexiest facial feature. Straight men found a woman’s mouth to be the second sexiest facial attribute.

While body parts may be what attracts most men and women to women, there is a new trend of people finding someone’s brain to be someone’s sexiest attribute. The boom of people identifying with sapiosexuality, a newly-termed quantifier for people who find intellectualism more attractive than physical attributes, has even led to the creation of dating apps like Sapio specifically geared towards accommodating needs of people’s intellectually-stimulated dating preferences. Matchmaking site OkCupid also expanded options to include people who preferred to be matched based on intelligence.
