This year, Friendship Week begins Monday and lasts through Friday. The theme of Friendship Week 2017 is belonging, an effort to raise awareness about finding a place for everyone.

Created by teachers around the world, the week is intended to teach young students how to reach out to each other instead of bullying. These 12 quotes celebrate good friends during Friendship Week and throughout the year.
